Turkey and gravy for certain. Colorful vegetable sides and something tart. But, we're a house divided - cornbread dressing or mashed potatoes!

Ahh yes that's a toss up! I say there's always room for both ha!

I love the humility of our American Thanksgiving. I would stick with the basics (however YOU Beth are anything but!) Roasted turkey, stuffing, mashed potatoes and gravy sweet potatoes and a nice veg dish. Ina Garten has a lot of ideas for veggie sides. Don’t make too many! I have made that mistake!

Turkey, dressing, gravy and cranberry whatever-you-can-find, then green beans with beets and blue cheese vinaigrette, sweet potatoes with bourbon-brown sugar-butter sauce, then very simple green salad. Your nut tart is perfect. I would have a simple relish tray of celery, carrot sticks and olives. I would eliminate mashed potatoes, you can have those everyday, everywhere. In fact, this is what I will be having.

Sounds lovely! Turkey and gravy for certain. We're a house divided, 1/2 want cornbread dressing and the other makes potatoes. I love colorful sides and something tart with homemade rolls.

Looks delicious! When we lived in Sweden we found some grocery stores had International Sections where we could find things we missed having. I am wondering will you collaborate with your dad and do a video this Christmas season? I know he has to miss you greatly. Thank you for the recipe!
