As many of you know, I was feeling a bit Homesick for Thanksgiving in the months leading up to the big event.
I went through a bit of a “Should I? Or Shouldn’t I Host it period”. But after 6 months of working on assimilating to French culture, I figured it was time to serve up some American culture!
So off we went into the wild blue yonder, trying to make this holiday work… here in France.
You never realize how truly “American” Thanksgiving is until you try to host it outside the country! Cornmeal, cranberries, pumpkin puree…not a thing here. But “where there’s a will, there’s a way,” and I was determined!
So settle in, pour yourself another cup of coffee, and join me on a 72-hour Odessy in search of Thanksgiving!
Happy Thanksgiving Beth! You are amazing! I love your positive outlook on everything and it’s all an adventure! When I grow up I want to be you, and I’m 73! You’re my inspiration!
Beth, have missed your videos & your smiles!
Loved this episode so much of shopping.
