Apologies for disappearing for a few weeks! But after wrapping up on the cookbook shoot… (if you missed that episode You can catch up here!) I went full-steam ahead into an even bigger “project!” Yep, a BIG life update is below!
So pour yourself a cup of something cozy, and settle in for “storytime”!
Father’s Day Recipes
This Sunday is Father’s Day! Still deciding what to make for his special day? Try these ideas! They are always crowd pleasers at our house!
Franglais Burger
A mash-up of French and American flavors for the ultimate summer burger recipe!
Traditional Potato Salad
Soft boiled potatoes combine with a tangy mayo-based dressing, complete with fresh herbs, spring onions and crispy bacon. Does it get any better?!
Peach Tarte Tatin
Peaches are coming into season and this is a very easy recipe that delivers big results! Sticky peaches and light and flakey puff pastry, top with whipped cream is a taste of summer in every little bite!
BBQ Ribs with Homemade BBQ Sauce
Spoil Dad with these fall-off-the-bones, stick ribs slathered in my homemade BBQ sauce. They roast for 2 hours in the oven (so plan ahead!) and they get finished on the grill. Worth all the time and effort!
SEZANE FINDS!
(I am compensated by Sezane for products sold at no additional cost to the consumer)
Traveling this summer? These are 3 of my favorite style of shoes to travel with from Sezane! The Jack Trainer, The Freya Sandal and the Gloria Heel. Accessories mentioned are old Sezane pieces but for something similar check these links! Sezane Basket Bags and Statement Gold Hoops! Happy Shopping!
Your parents, they are a hoot and a half! Thank goodness for Zoom, or whatever means you use for video-communicating with them. And you're so right about what a blessing it's been for your girls to have them so close by while growing up there. A solid foundation of family love there.
Oh my goodness, how exciting! I'm actually tearing up for you leaving your parents though, maybe they'll come too...praying for you all a safe trip, and especially your sweet little George. Can't wait for your next adventure on YouTube, yay! And looking forward to your cookbook. So many things! Bon Voyage!
