There are only a handful of recipes my girls always beg me to make (Baked Stuffed Shells, Feed Me Fast Chicken, and these cookies!) (how did I, the one who loves to cook, the one who will make anything anyone requests at the drop of a hat, end up with picky eaters?!)
You’ll see why these cookies are at the top of their list! They are the perfect combination of sweet and chewy, soft and fluffy with just a touch of crispness around the edges. When served slightly warm just out of the oven they are a little piece of heaven!
You Probably Have all The Ingredients!
These cookies are easy to make on a whim when you are craving something sweet before settling in for the night with your Netflix queue (Anyone watching the Swans?! I’ve only watched the first episode and I’m curious if it’s worth investing in the rest. Capote’s voice takes some patience, but the outfits and jewelry are to die for, so there’s that!
But do make sure you have the Cream of Tartar, don’t skip that step! It’s what makes them chewy and a bit puffy.
The Texture and Flavor is SO Good
It has the 3 best characteristics going for it:
The chewy center and the crispy edges
The soft puffy centers
The buttery, cinnamon sugar flavor
SO good!
COMING UP NEXT…
I’ll be back in your inboxes on Saturday with a healthy soup recipe! (to redeem myself from these cookies! Ha!) It’s a delicious Roasted Cauliflower and Curry soup that warms you from within! (and is sure to cure whatever ails you, it’s a great soup for when you are feeling a bit under the weather) stay tuned!
So sorry for the confusion. I forgot to add the "print recipe button", here it is! Hope you enjoy! https://entertainingwithbeth.com/snickerdoodle-cookie-recipe/
We don't have these in the UK (as far as I'm aware, anyway) - they sound fantastic 🤤
