I'm Officially a Basket Case

There's a reason why some traditions die hard in France!

Last weekend I headed to my favorite brocante here in town to look for some antique pots to put my lavender topiaries in.

They sat like this for a week, glaring at me with their purple plastic containers begging for something a bit more chic.

But each time I go to this brocante, determined to find “X”, I come out with “Y”. Sigh…there were no matching pots to be found. I was hoping for something like this, and I needed a pair. I know high-stakes all around.

But what I did find, were these little gems!
